VOLUNTEER TRAINING: Because of your valuable feedback, we are doing things a little differently this year. So many of you asked to meet your team before the Festival like we did in prior years. We understand how important this is so this year we are planning a (still mandatory) training session on Wednesday, just before the Festival Kick-Off. Training is scheduled for Wednesday, October 18th from 10:00-12:00, at Satchmo’s (aka Boiler Room): where you can meet and sit with your team, hear a word from our Director(s) and learn what you need to know about volunteering this year. Coffee and a light snack will be provided. NOTE: If you have the first shift in the Limelight room (music starts at 1:45, team needs to be there at 1:15 to open the venue), you might want to consider bringing a sack lunch with you so you can head over right after training. It will be important to be on time for your shift so we don’t want you to get stuck in line somewhere.
APPLICATIONS STILL OPEN: We still have a few volunteer positions to fill. Please peruse the list of volunteers and if you don’t see someone you are expecting to volunteer with (spouse or friend,) please reach out to them and remind them to go to our website (www.SunValleyJazz.com) and fill out an application. We need new applications each year to assure we have current contact information for each volunteer. Applications will close once volunteer positions are filled.
